If your child becomes a member of our Club, you will receive a membership pack which contains important information about our Club, what you can expect from us and what we expect from our players.  However, hopefully, these FAQs answer some of the questions you may have.

We provide training and match kit as the generosity of sponsors has enabled us to provide to our players.

  • Who runs the Club?

The Club is run by a group of committed and enthusiastic parents who  are keen to support their own child's love of basketball as well as the other children who are members.  The parents on the committee bring a range of different skills and professional qualifications to the management and running of the Club and we are a non-profit sports club.  We fund the running of the Club and the opportunities we offer by raising money, donations and sponsorship.

  • Who provides coaching?

Coaching is provided by Mark Spatcher and our Team Manager is Tara Spatcher.  Both of them are full qualified and DBS checked and have over 30 years experience in coaching and managing a basketball team and working with children to encourage their passion for the sport and develop their skills.

  • What are the opportunities for my child?

In addition to informal training, the Club actively seeks competitive opportunities either by way of friendlies or through participation in established Leagues.

  • How often are the away games and how does my child attend?

As often as possible by usually every other week or so.  We do not have transport facilities so we ask parents to transport their own child or liaise with other parents to do so.
